Conditions that I commonly work with are:
For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in health & our body's workings. As a teenager, I was fortunate to be introduced to Traditional Chinese Medicine practices by a family friend. Some years later, my own experience through receiving acupuncture showed me the profound relationship between our mind, emotions, and physical body. It made such sense to see how integrated our health is! I was hooked.
Since then, I am honoured to have been practicing for nearly 20 years. I am especially passionate about making acupuncture accessible to all people in a safe & nurturing way. I practice "distal" acupuncture in the traditions of the late Master Tung & Richard Teh-Fu Tan. This style allows both the practitioner & patient to have immediate feedback & integration during the treatment and to further tailor the treatment to your specific needs.
Acupuncture treatment may include cupping, sound therapy via the use of special tuning forks, and acupressure. Some gentle lifestyle advice may be included where applicable.
My philosophy is that of traditional oriental medicine - assisting to find balance in health, work & play. And I love to play. My way of doing so is hiking, biking - anything in our beautiful natural surroundings of BC. I love good food and try to recreate my favorite childhood recipes to share with my own family. And if I can get some of the ingredients out of my own little garden my heart is very happy indeed!
I hope to see you soon.

Rolfing Structural Integration is a form of bodywork that reorganizes the connective tissues, called fascia, that permeate the entire body.
More than fifty years ago, Dr. Rolf recognized that the body is inherently a system of seamless networks of tissues rather than a collection of separate parts. These connective tissues surround, support, and penetrate all the muscles, bones, nerves and organs.
Rolfing Structural Integration works on this web-like complex of connective tissues to release, realign, and balance the whole body, thus potentially resolving discomfort, reducing compensations, and alleviating pain.
This bodywork aims to restore flexibility, revitalize your energy, and leave you feeling more comfortable in your body. Essentially, the Rolfing process enables the body to regain the natural integrity of its form, thus it can dramatically enhance postural efficiency and your freedom of movement and leaves you feeling more comfortable in your body.
