Lisa has worked in the field of health and wellness since 2006. Upon graduating from Adler University with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, her focus has been in providing mental health support services to youth, adults, couples and families.
Following a strengths based perspective, Lisa’s work aims to draw on her clients’ inner strengths to highlight their resilience and ability to keep fighting during challenging times. Recognizing that many often feel too afraid, ashamed or embarrassed to reach out for help when dealing with personal struggles, her client-centered approach is designed to offer support and guidance in a safe, comforting and accepting environment.
Lisa’s therapeutic competencies are in treating youth and adults of all ages who are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem and self-acceptance, grief and loss, and issues involving interpersonal relationships. She further specializes in counselling adolescent girls and young women in the areas of self-harming behaviour, disordered eating, and perfectionism. Her hope is that each of her clients will reach their full potential by making choices that reflect the important aspects of their life and what is meaningful to them.

Jeff Gabert is a graduate of the inaugural massage therapy program at Langara College. Throughout the program he was fortunate to work with diverse populations and benefitted from the knowledge shared by fantastic teachers and fellow RMT’s. Jeff has a special interest in treating chronic pain and fatigue, particularly those dealing with arthritis. He regularly leads talks and workshops for the Arthritis Society dealing with coping skills and tips for pain management. Another area of interest for Jeff is sports massage and injury rehabilitation. He will be spending a week this summer travelling and working on the competitors of the BC Bike race, keeping them in riding shape. Jeff seeks to aid the body in its natural healing process and help clients implement a homecare program that will facilitate their recovery. By employing a variety of massage techniques including: Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, joint mobilizations and muscle energy; Jeff creates a unique and client centred massage treatment.
Outside of massage, Jeff enjoys cycling the seawall, weight training, playing music and a weekly trivia night. “I look forward to meeting you and working together.”
Gillian Andersen, RMT graduated from the 3000 hour Registered Massage Therapy Program at The West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2007. She uses a variety of therapeutic massage techniques, including: Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, as well as stretching and therapeutic exercise. She also enjoys doing pregnancy massage (both pre and post-natal) and has completed continuing education in this area.
Gillian is passionate about massage and she is committed to working with her clients to help them achieve a pain-free, balanced and healthy life. She tailors her treatments, using specific techniques to suit each individual client’s needs and understands the importance of addressing the root of the pain and dysfunction rather than just treating the symptoms alone. She is inspired by a strong desire to make a difference in the quality of her clients’ lives through increasing mobility and providing an overall sense of relaxation and well-being.
Outside the treatment room, Gillian is passionate about spending time outdoors with her two kids, camping, kayaking, hiking, and downhill skiing.
Edysha, RMT has a deep understanding and skill for assessing, releasing and unwinding the human form. Her intuitive style, which focuses on the breath, assists clients with the letting go process of what has been stored/stagnant and invites clients to become more present with themselves and within their bodies. She has cultivated her understanding and skill from 10 years of experience in working with a diverse clientele basis as well as by being deeply on her own path of healing on the physical, emotional and energetic levels.
Her path to wellness has been deeply impacted by her devoted practices of Vijnana yoga and meditation, as well as an ever developing relationship to inner truth and authentic living.
Edysha offers traditional RMT sessions, Intuitive Healing sessions, or a combination of the two.
Edysha also offers Vijnana Yoga classes and private sessions. Vijnana means practicing from inside. This practice embodies seven principles:
Relaxed body, Quiet mind, Focusing through intent, Connecting, Rooting, Breathing & Expanding.
Through this holistic form of yoga, Edysha offers a safe container, where clients can begin understanding how to unwind and release their bodies, for deeper connection, profound levels of relaxation, rejuvenation, and refined nourishment.
